Regenerative Therapy

Regenerative therapy is the evolving field of medicine that uses the body’s existing healing mechanisms to help repair injured tissues. These natural, non-surgical options allow patients to return to their regular activities with little to no down time.

Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) Injection

PRP injections can help accelerate the healing process from musculoskeletal injuries in damaged tendons and alleviate arthritis pain. It involves injecting a high concentration of platelets suspended in plasma derived from your own blood. Platelets then release growth factors, which have healing properties.

Alpha-2-Macroglobulin (A2M) Injections

A2M is a breakthrough treatment for osteoarthritis, where there is cartilage destruction within a joint. A2M is a naturally occurring plasma protein, which is derived from a blood draw. When a high concentration of A2M is injected into the joint, it can slow down the breakdown of cartilage by binding to and removing the destructive enzymes (proteases) that are damaging the cartilage and tissues.
